Three Horizons Group  ·  Last updated: May 22, 2026

Welcome. These terms govern your use of the Three Horizons Group website, our newsletter (Marketing That Matters), and any other digital properties we operate (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

Three Horizons Group (“Three Horizons,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a brand strategy and PR agency based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

These terms apply to website visitors, newsletter subscribers, and anyone interacting with our public content. They do not govern client engagements, which are covered by separate signed agreements.

Using the site

You can use the Site for personal and professional reasons, including reading our content, subscribing to the newsletter, and contacting us about your business.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our systems, or any data we hold.
  • Use automated tools (scrapers, bots, crawlers) to harvest content from the Site without our written permission, except for standard search engine indexing.
  • Copy, republish, or commercially redistribute our content without permission.
  • Use the Site to send spam, malware, or any harmful code.
  • Impersonate Three Horizons or any of its team members.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site for anyone who violates these terms.

Our content

The content on this Site, including writing, frameworks, images, design, and the Three Horizons name and logo, is owned by Three Horizons Group or used with permission. It’s protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark law.

You’re welcome to:

  • Read and share our content for non-commercial purposes, with appropriate credit and a link back to the source.
  • Quote short excerpts in your own work with attribution.
  • Forward the newsletter to colleagues or friends.

You’re not permitted to:

  • Republish full articles or newsletter issues without written permission.
  • Use our content to train AI models, large language models, or any similar systems without written permission.
  • Use our name, logo, or branding to imply endorsement or partnership without written permission.
  • Repackage our frameworks or strategic content as your own.

If you want to use our content in a way these terms don’t allow, email info@threehorizonsgroup.com. We’re usually reasonable.

The newsletter

Marketing That Matters is a free newsletter. By subscribing, you agree to receive emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

Newsletter content is provided as commentary and professional opinion. It is not legal, financial, or strategic advice for your specific business. If you need advice tailored to your situation, get in touch about an engagement.

Your submissions

If you send us a message, idea, comment, or any other content through the Site or by email, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use that content in connection with our business, including responding to you, improving our work, or referencing it in our own published content (without identifying you personally unless you’ve given permission).

Don’t send us anything confidential or proprietary unless we have a signed agreement in place. A general inquiry through the contact form is not a confidential communication.

Third-party links and tools

The Site may link to third-party websites, tools, or services. We don’t control those, and we’re not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Following an external link is at your own discretion.

Client engagements

Nothing on this Site constitutes an offer, contract, or guarantee of services. A client engagement with Three Horizons begins only when both parties have signed a written agreement (typically a statement of work or master service agreement). Until then, no professional relationship exists.

Conversations, proposals, and discovery calls before a signed agreement are exploratory and non-binding.

Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do our best to keep things accurate and current, but we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, about:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the Site.
  • The Site being uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.
  • Any results you might achieve by applying ideas, frameworks, or advice published on the Site.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Three Horizons Group, its founders, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any content on it, even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

This limitation applies to use of the public Site and its content. It does not limit our liability under signed client agreements, which are governed by their own terms.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Three Horizons Group and its team from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party in connection with your use of the Site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated terms. If a change is material, we’ll do our best to flag it visibly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province. Any dispute arising out of or related to the Site or these terms will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, and you agree to submit to their exclusive jurisdiction.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. The unenforceable part will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or removed.
